Agaricus sp for id please

found this one today in grass under mature oak tree, i assume its an Agaricus sp, but cant seem to find anything of this ones colour,there were several more in a small semi circle , but all were to far gone with maggots to be of any help, even this one is well riddled with maggots,
smells of the usual mushroom odor, flesh in cap to maggotty to be of any use in id ,

Hello brian,

usually I don't even click on a thread where the word "Agaricus" appears in the header ....
In this case I'm happy to have done it nevertheless. Your Agaricus might be something interesting, judging from the colour it has now. It is an Agaricus , but which species is impossible to tell. I have the idea, that it could be Agaricus porphyrocephalus, what would be a quite rare species.
May be it's possible that you keep the spot under observation and have look from time to time if iot reappears?

i pass the spot where these were found quite regulalary, so hopefully one or two more may still appear, and provide a better chance for an id,
