| | | 3 For ID/Confirmation Help Please All found today: -
No.1 I think is The Deceiver - Laccaria laccata.
About 60mm tall, cap diameter about 15mm.
No.2 I was originally thinking possibly Pholiota adiposa, but am now thinking a Cortinarius ?
Growing on a fallen branch. (Beech I think).
Stipe length about 35mm. Cap diameter about same.
No3. An Inocybe I think, but can't get anything beyond that.
Growing from soil below Oak.
Stipes 60-70mm tall, caps 30-50mm diameter
Any help with ID's much appreciated.
Regards,
Mike. |

| | | Re: 3 For ID/Confirmation Help Please 2nd is not Cortinarius mate, the substrate rules that out immediately. If I saw this myself, a quick glance and I'd assume it was Gymnopilus penetrans, but I expect it's more complex than that! |
