One For The Experts!


Found this solitary minature on the lawn this morning. Think it is a Mycena Sp.(may be wrong) and can't pin it down.

Details:-

Solitary.
On Lawn , calcareous soil.
Cap dia.12mm
Stem ht.48mm dia.1mm
No odour.
No bruising.

All suggestions welcome!

I think it is a species of Coprinus

Looking at it again I think you are right. The depression in the cap is a good indicator.

Maybe Coprinus plicatilis?
