| | | Fungi Identification Please Could this be Amanita virosa, found growing under conifers in needle litter and moss.
Same fungus but what is the darker one?
Is this a Clitocybe?
These tiny fungus were in near darkness in needle litter

| | | Re: Fungi Identification Please hi Ron
others know Amanita much better than I do, but it surely isn't virosa - you can't be 100% certain from your shots, but it doesn't seem to have a partial veil for a start . . .
I would say you're in the section Amanitopsis (grisette) area, and that those two specimens are actually the same species
the "Clitocybe" looks very like a Lactarius
can't offer an opinion on the bottom one
cheers
Chris

| | | Re: Fungi Identification Please I would opt for Amnanita citrina var alba. It doesn't have the jiz for A. virosa. For The Lactarius maybe L. rufus and the small Clitocybe .... well

It's so odd, that white specimen has the volval bag of A. virosa/fulva/vaginata but the pileus of A. citrina var. alba |
