I ran a check a week or so ago and removed/merged all the duplicates. The only thing I can suggest is to search the reference section's content before adding a new listing. |
I have been Stu but it's very time consuming clicking on common names and then latin names, and frustrating when I miss one.

This is how I would have thought the "insect pages" would read:
All the singular of the entity, no need for "insectival facts"?
(incidently all the "insect pages" in the sidebar are plurals ) | Most of the titles and menus are auto-generated from content types, so they use whatever default they have and sometimes it's correct when displayed in some circumstances, other times it's not. We can manually override most of them, but there are literally hundreds of occurences throughout the site and not really top of my list of things to do for a great night in

I've just added it to the top of the right column to make it easier to search for existing pages before adding a new one

| | | Re: Improving our fungi forum I've just spent some time rearranging the "Useful Links" part of the Fungi Reference section into alphabetical order.
I think it would be good practice if everyone editing or adding to the fungi reference sections kept lists and the like in alphabetical order.
Alphabetical order makes things much easier when using the reference section to try to find something which may or may not be there.
Regards,
Mike.

| | | Re: Help Develop the Fungi Pages It must be the actual file size in Kilobytes rather than the pixel size that's causing your problem.
Try to ensure that any single image is less than 500Kb (WAB's maximum). EDIT WAB's FAQ page says this: -
Troubleshooting
Q. My images don't appear when I've uploaded them
A. Your images must have a filesize less than 0.5Mb (512kB) and preferably a lot smaller

Mike.
