| | | two for id please these two were growing in grass along the edges of a footpath with birch and young oak close by with heather close by,
no1/ the cap is actually a more green/grey colour than it appears in the picture, smells of something i cant put a name to, cap about 3" across, stipe 3.5" tall
no2/ cap approx 2.5" , stipe 3",dry and smooth to touch, above ring white and smooth, below ring brownish and slightly scaly, no smell, could not see any sign of sac or bulb in soil,
i had a name for no1 but totally uncertain, no idea with no2 though,

although the two were growing close together, i did not connect them as being the same species, especially given the different cap colouring,
being one i have not found before, my knowledge of A.spissa is very limited to say the least
