Are these Fungi or Molds?
These strange looking Fungi/Moulds appeared on my lawn about 5 days ago. There are 8 of them. What are they?

Welcome to WAB. This is a slime mould Fuligo septica. Fools rush in. Not Fuligo but still a slime mould this time Mucilago crustacea.

Hi and thanks for the fast reply. Are they poisonous?
Where do they come from and are they a health hazard for children playing in the garden etc.

You have no worries about the children. Although they are described as "inedible" (the fungi that is) I am sure the if they are anything like my children they have more appetising things to eat - like worms and lady-birds
