| | | Re: 10 fungi for identification Hi Ron, nice haul. I think you have;
1. Paxillus involutus
2. Suillus bovinus
3. Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca
4. Interesting sp.
5. Lactarius, possibly either L. deliciosus or L. deterrimus
6. Looks similar to 4 but without such a scurfy pileus, could be a Laccaria.
7. Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca again.
8. Initially thought it might be Chalciporus but upon comparison with others, the pores look too light. Unsure!
9. Errrrrm, way above my mind
10. Perhaps an immature Paxillus involutus but odd that it's got no 'pattern' around the rim. The red brusing atop the cap would point towards this species.
Hope that helps,
Nick |

| | | Re: 10 fungi for identification Andreas will slice through these I'm sure but for what it's worth I see what Nick means about Chalciporus - perhaps bleached a bit by the flash
second from last I would love to get under the microscope, could we be in Hypholoma / Stropharia country?
the last one I am pretty sure is a Cortinarius species, section Seriocybe
cheers
Chris
