| | | Hello! Any idea what these boletes and agarcus are? Hello all,
This is my first post on here but have been visiting the site for some time and admiring people's nice photos and learning a thing or two aswell. Despite the horrible rain today I had a stroll through one of my local parks and found some boletus luridus which I had no trouble identifying but also found a large number of these...
...which I suspect may be the bitter bolete but on trying a small portion of the flesh (after scouring through my id books thoroughly first I might add!) I found no bitter favour. They were found close by to oak and beech trees, the flesh is white and only discoloured slightly grey long afer cutting. the pores are whitish.
The next that I found was a large ring of these...
...the ring was in grass next to the stump of a felled pine which was also right next to a road. The flesh does not bruise or discolour, the gills are white in the young, pink in the middle-aged, and brown in the old timers. These pictures make the colours look darker than they actually are. I can't detect any particular smell.
Thanks for looking and any help would be very greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

the first one is Boletus reticulatus (or aestivalis, as some prefer).
best regards,
Andreas
