Mycena
I came across a small grey/white Mycena just next to a Mycena stylobates that looked a little different. Unfortunately it was buried deep in last years fern debris and I was not as careful as I should have been in removing it.
I couldn't get the camera in to take one in situ so apologies for the poor quality of the photo.



Fortunately the features for identification were not damaged.
Cap hairs



and the long fingered cheilocystidia




Mycena aciculata.

Close by in amongst some dead nettles was this specimen. Not quite up to the quality of the photo in The Forayer but not bad non the less
