I joined the Bucks Fungus group yesterday hoping to be shown fungi on ancient oak and as far as that was concerned it was a total disaster 
BUT WHAT A DAY. 
As well as Boletus satanus, luridiformis, radicans and chrysenteron we also found Phellinus populicola and a possible Ganoderma lucidum.
A very small specimen was found late on, on the underside of a branch looking like a lot of hollow tubes 
about 1/5th mm high
Anyone got any suggestions.

Hi Mal,
my guess is Henningsomyces candidus (have no English name for it). Surprisingly a basidiomycete.

I have now checked and the outside of the tubes was granular rather than pubescent so H candidus it is.(not H puber which is hairy)
