| | | boletes for id please no 1/ found under oaks in leaf litter, has very faint blue bruising to pores, and flesh to cap when cut, cap smooth and dry not sticky/slimy, boletus badius ?
no2/ found in mixed woodland with sycamores/oaks/birch all close by, this one was badly eaten by maggots inside, so not much flesh left , what there was did have a very faint blue tinge when cut, cap was dry and a felt like appearance,
apologies for poor quality of spore pics, im still getting to grips with this, (new equipment on the way, so hopefully some improvements in this area )

| | | Re: boletes for id please Many thanks for the id's Andreas,
i almost got there with the Xerocomus submentosus, (i had labelled the spore print as "suede") but it seemed very similar to some others, so i was unsure,
