Unknown Agaricale

Even I am puzzeled with this one growing on a huge pile of Hoss Dung.
Possible lepiota, but no smell, has Salmon coloured Gills.

Interesting one, can you add any more habitat information, dimensions or possibly a stem/gill shot.
It looks almost identical to a Agaricus silvaticus I found at the weekend, but if it was not in close proximity to conifers you can rule that one out.

No Conifers & no smell of aniseed. It was on the edge of an arable desert in a huge pile of Hoss Muck.

Could be a Lepiota?

Or could be a common one in an unusual substrate.

May seem daft but fits the bill for Lepiota rubrotincta which is normally restricted to North America, but who knows, stranger things can happen. Perhaps they were American horses.

Hmm, looks interesting, if they're still there, get one and dry it, then send if off to Kew.

p.s, I looked at L. rubrotincta but it doesnt mention anything abot pinkish gills
