| | Mushroom ID help hi i would like to know if anyone could please tell me what species/type of mushroom this is it popped up in my garden recently. i live in northern ireland if that helps:  
heres also one i picked a day ago to get a closer look:

im sorry but you couldnt maybe clarify what you mean by ornamented ?
bit of an amatuer in the mushroom world!
if it was either Panaeolus/Panaeolina would they be edible i saw a big clump in the corner of the garden earlier?

then you have foenisecii (poor photograph, mind - I must get some images of my own, but those are 'ornamented' spores) - if you don't have a microscope, PM me -
I would be happy to look at the spore print for you
