Exidia plana?

I'd appreciate opinions on this: -



Found today on a felled birch trunk.

I've seen Exidia glandulosa a couple of times, and this doesn't look to be the same thing.

Nearest I can get by looking at photos appears to be Exidia plana, due to the dark, very contorted "brain like" folds, with scattered "glandular warts".

But the lighter, almost translucent parts of the mass don't seem to be mentioned in descriptions I've read.

Any replies welcome.

EDIT - the photo may appear slightly deceptive. The overall size of the fungus in the image is only about 50mm wide in total.

I was close to suggesting an immature Tremella foliacea but I backed out when you added the size
