| | | Marasmius rotula ?? lots of these about today in small groups, on soil/twiggy debris, at the edges of woodland paths,
Marasmius rotula seems to fit the bill , but confirmation/correction would be great,

Brian. | Interestingly, almost exactly this time last year M. rotula was in its thousands (probably tens of thousands) in Hawks Wood, by the Chesterfield Canal (not that far away from your stamping ground, Brian) - it's where my avatar comes from - taken with blood running down my left leg - but that's another story

Chris | must make the effort and have a look soon, not been up there for quite a while now,
always seems to be a very productive area for fungi, as does much of the surrounding area 
apparently the woods around pebley (Harthill) ponds are full of fungi now, so thats another one on the must visit list,
