Help with ID please
Is this Boletus aestivalis? Sorry it wasn't photographed in situ. It was under hawthorn among other broadleaf trees, on Saturday. No colour changes at all, a very solid specimen.

Hi there, yes most definitely B. aestivalis, nice find. The fine reticulation and light reddish brown hue/colouration of the stipe are good indicators of this species as well as of course the time of year. Also the cap can often be more matt than that of edulis The Summer Cep.

No problem, Summer Cep refers to B. aestivalis by the way and not B. edulis.
