| | | Tremella foliacea longevity I'm still ploughing my way through my past records ... just got to Jan 1 2009 ... yippee, only we are now in June 2009 .. so still a long way to go to catch up ...
Anyway came across my record of Tremella foliacea. Dec 31 2008. Well it is still there now, looked as if it had been there quite some time when I first saw it too, so I was wondering what is a typical lifespan for this? Can I come back in 5/10 years time and still see it, if no-one has run off with the branch in the meantime? Though the branch (birch) may well have been rotted by other things by then, or been entirely eaten up by a hungry Tremella ... or maybe something, some other fungus will have eaten the Tremella ...
