Fungus Amungus

I went back to the place I found the Xylaria, to get a pic of them all grown up. Sadly the thing which had grown was the undergrowth and I couldnt find that stump. I did snap the follwing selection though...
The biggest Xylaria here are less than half the size of those I was hunting.
Any ID's welcomed!!!

hi - and welcome to WAB

not wishing to be rude some (actually most TBH) of these images are not up to ID standard - I'm sure you must appreciate that (and even then of course you can't always get a name from the macroscopic view, no matter how sharp)

I would recommend taking lots of shots, varying your settings and only posting the images which are in focus and not over-exposed

OK, now let's try to get a little more positive . . .

1 might be Mycena acicula (but only might)
6 looks like the slime-mould Lycogala terrestre
9 is Xylaria carpophila

that's the best I can do

Dont worry about being rude, I know the photography is poor

I went looking for things the size of my fingers and found tiny weenie things. A tripod would have been useful but I am never gonna be a photographer of any worth.

Looking up the names you suggest I think you nailed those ID's. I shall have a devil of a time trying to remember the Latin Names though.
