Front and back of a mushroom: 
Is this the same species? The other is flat, this is more of an umbrella shape. First picture is stem, then top and bottom of cap   |

although the fotos are not exactly what I would call brilliant, a determination is in my opinion possible in this case: You have Russula vesca in your garden. Acc. to Wikipedia it is called "Bare-toothed Russula" or "The Flirt".
As this fungus lives symbiotic with trees, there must be a tree in up to 20 meters distance to the fruitbodies.

There are some more young fruits emerging, with purplish caps, from the ground.
The id seems a good one - it is apparently especially found other oaks, and the stipe is indeed very brittle.

Unfortunately they have been partly eaten by something, they look quite fresh.
