| | | Mushroom ID please I found these growing on wood based compost around a bell pepper seedling, can anyone id them please? Also, if they are poisonous, will it affect the edibility of the peppers if/when they grow? |

| | | Re: Mushroom ID please hi and welcome to WAB
I'm intrigued if these pinkish fruitbodies in the pot are the same thing as the picked ones . . . .
if you want to pick some and dry them (quickly with this group!) I'd be interested to have a look at them
best wishes
Chris

| | | Re: Mushroom ID please they definitely came from the same pot, the whole one on the left is the one you see in growing out the pot in the bottom left of that photo and the one cut in half was the top left one from behind the stalk.
i would put the difference in colour down to my camera, the pot was shot in the conservatory with natural light and the individuals were shot on my desk illuminated by a hallogen lamp.
they have actually started drying out on their own as they've been living in my conservatory and it's been hot today. when you say you'd like a closer look, do you mean more photos or sending you a sample? |
