| | | Re: yellow fungi troops Judging by the immature specimens towards the middle of the bunch, these look like Bolbitius vitellinus. The substrate would also support this.
EDIT; BUT they're far too substantial, so I'm tempted to retract that suggestion!
EDIT AGAIN!  - Aren't there some substantial variations to Bolbitius somewhere along the lines?

I struggled to find it!
The stem was also granular at the top, as in the pic, gills brown/cinnamon - all fits with jordans description - shape of cap also reminiscent of common ink cap too.
He has them as infrequent - any views on that?

Edit for your edit - I forgot size(!) -they were about 1'' max across cap, so not a big fungus.
