Fungi ID Please
Found these a couple of weeks ago any suggestions as to ID appreciated, they were growing on common land used occasionally for grazing cows. Think they could be a Psathyrella Sp. On second thoughts could they be Panaeolus fimicola - Turf Mottlegill

Hello,

it is a Panaeolus species, not a Psathyrella. Psathyrella never have pruinose stipes, but all Panaeolus have.
For species identification microscopical details of spores and cystidia are needed.

Thanks Andreas for confirming them as a Panaeolus species, I appreciate that microscopic examination would be required to take ID to the next stage.
