| | | Fungi i.d.? We have a few of these growing among some long grass at the back of our garden. I've read and re-read my field guide (honestly) but I'm hopeless at identification of these and someone has now asked if it's edible. The caps are about 2 inches across, if that helps.
Thanks! |

Thanks! | Hi Words
Your fungus is the Spring Agaric - Agrocybe Praecox
Said to be edible but best avoided. No!

| | | Re: Fungi i.d.? 'My' foxes are being uncommonly shy and I only get grabs on a trail cam at the moment. However, the local wild foxes (fields, downland) have decided to compensate for their more urban friends and have been providing hands on lessons in how to catch rabbits! From no 'wild' sightings in three or four years, I'm now seeing them regularly (in exactly the same locations I always visit). This from yesterday: |

| | | Re: Fungi i.d.? WOW! Beautiful images there.
I do hope there aren't any fluffy bunny fans upset by 'nature in the raw' there!!
Excellent!
Acherontia
PS We often partake of a bit of bunny ourselves - it's better than cheap and has fewer calories than bought stuff.
