| | | little yellow job for id please i dont even know where to start looking for info on this one, there is nothing like it in any of the books i have,
it was found on a well decayed piece of a fallen beech tree,
it measured approx 2 inch by 1 inch in area, when lightly touched , it released masses of yellow spore clouds,
any pointers in the right direction would be a great help with this one
(the picture is a cropped one to try and show a little more detail, it looked more like a powdery deposit to the naked eye)
thanks,
Brian. |

Cheers J.P. | Hi JP, following your suggestion for Trichia favoginea,
i did a a quick search on the net, and came up with a good case for you being spot on with this one, with lots of info and close resembalance in a lot of pictures to the one i found,
but without the microscopy, i will put this one down as a "probably"
(unless anyone can say otherwise )
many thanks,
