| | | Pure White Polypore for ID please Clumber Park 14 April 2009
During a foray in Clumber with FungiJohn, we found this specimen under a Beech log.
At first, it seemed featureless, but on examination under a hand lens, the pore / tubes became obvious. There was also a rudimentary stem.
These images have been adjusted to show some detail which was lacking in the normal white on white images.
Any suggestions towards an ID are welcomed.

I forgot to mention just how small the pores were. At first I thought there were none, but found them with hand lens. This certainly fits with the comment in Jordan's.
