Id Please
We found quite a few of these growing along the banks of the river Severn yesterday. I thought they were flower shoots at first but when you touched them the spores dispersed. Any ideas anyone?

Hi Mike, thanks for that. I`ve just googled it. We used to have Horsetail growing on an allotment we used to have but I didn`t know this was the fruiting body, great Thanks for finding it in the wrong forum!
