Clumber Park awakens
Hello all

I shall be making a few visits to Clumber over the Easter period after almost a month away!

The recent rain should help produce the usual 'Lime Tree' avenue spring flush and I'm fairly confident on seeing some 'proper' fungi

I shall also be looking at Sherwood Pines which last Saturday suffered a serious fire destroying many young pine trees and undergrowth:

Hopefully something good will come from this in terms of 'fire site' fungi but it does remind us of how fragile habitats can be
