| | | Clumber Park awakens Hello all
I shall be making a few visits to Clumber over the Easter period after almost a month away!
The recent rain should help produce the usual 'Lime Tree' avenue spring flush and I'm fairly confident on seeing some 'proper' fungi
I shall also be looking at Sherwood Pines which last Saturday suffered a serious fire destroying many young pine trees and undergrowth: Forestry Commission on fire at Sherwood Pines Forest Park
Hopefully something good will come from this in terms of 'fire site' fungi but it does remind us of how fragile habitats can be
I hope everyone enjoys Easter and happy hunting!
