Mike. | Yes, this is the Blushing Bracket Mike. It turns dark red with age.

Just to add to the confusion the pores of D. confragosa are often like yours, that is mainly round/oval but with a few developing into slots. You then come across
where they are almost all slots. This often led mistakenly to the identification of such fruitbodies as Daedaleopsis tricolor.

Mal |  - I think I should stick to wild flowers  , - At least Bluebells don't sometimes look like Daffodils  - (Only joking, but I've got a feeling that I'll be asking for fungi ID's ad-infinitum).
