| | which peziza? Hi everyone,
this was growing, in a strong troop, about 20+ fruiting bodies, in a plant pot with liliacea, quite damp though.
Its quite granular surface leads me to think it must be P. Granulosa, but I had P. Domiciliana growing out of an old stone wall only about 2mtrs away a few weeks ago - and it appears so similar.
Grateful for more guidance than jordan gives on how to decide please.
Cheers
Ken

Ken | Check out the key Ken at : British fungi - Keys
Although microscopy is normally required for correct ID of most peziza species.

| | | Re: which peziza? Thats a great key John, many thanks - another into my favourites!
one day I might not need to ask . . . . .ha ha , we all do sometimes!!!
Substrate tends to make it granulosa - thats my current thinking without microscopy.
Cheers
Ken

| | | Re: which peziza? I know you may have done due to substrate, but have you discounted P. vesiculosa? |
