found this Armillaria thats killing the Oaks  also what are the tiny black balls in the photo
and all so found what I think is some sort of Polyporus
both found in Great Breach Wood Somerset 20/03/2009

PM me and send me some and I might well be able to tell you   . I'm afraid there are a lot of pyrenomycetes that look like this in the field . . . I could throw out some possible names, but I think that might imply a false accuracy, as it could easily be something else again

Chris | after not been able to find were I see these I found the tree with the black ball again today
