Found this solitary specimen today, in open grassland on Moors, and would appreciate any steer to it's ID if at all possible.
Cap diameter about 25mm, stipe height about 50mm. Growing from soil, not on twig etc. Dry to the touch.
(Apologies for the rubbish photo's - they looked OK on the camera screen  ).

Hallo Mike,
the purple hue in the gills, the greasy-looking cap and the appearance of the stem with its rudimentary veil remnants make it quite sure that this is a Psilocybe species. But which one I dare not judge from the foto only. At least it is one with purplish brown sporeprint, which excludes Psilocybe crobula s.l.
