| | | Spring fungi flush underway ... Whilst there is very little on the grassland .. I checked that a couple of days ago and found only a few Panaeolus, and they do deserve a rest, the grassland was pretty productive until mid January, and only the week+ of snow finally stopped them ... Today in the coniferous woodland there were quite a few species coming through, with stalks ...

| | | Re: Spring fungi flush underway ... I was out today and my usual walk takes me through broadleaf and coniferous woodland and up here in Scotland there is not a lot of activity, though I spotted my first ever Scarlet elf cup growing on dead wood in wet conditions.
