Orange Peel or Scarlet Elfcup, Snowdrop Valley

Hello WABers

I had it in my mind that these were Orange Peel Fungus - Aleuria aurantia but on closer inspection the substrate is wrong as these are clearly growing on dead logs..

So I'm putting my money on Scarlet Elfcup - Sarcoscypha austriaca, all comments welcome.

Thanks Nick, the colours are surprisingly close at a quick glance but I now I have it in my head.. logs - scarlet, soil - orange.

In Snowdrop Valley it wasn't exactly a challenge

Sadly the light was failing when we got there, so a lot of photos I took were blurred, but for the Snowdrop fans I'll post two more.. the second with two fungi.. Oysters and King Alfred's Cakes..
