| | Fungus Expert Needed Hi
I've been playing with my new camera (oops - I mean my dad's new camera ) and as you can see I've been taking lots of pictures of lovely fungus / fungi (much to the 'amusement' of my partner). Problem is I haven't got a clue what any of them are (I am going to put lots of field guides on my Christmas list!!) In the meantime it would be great if someone could help me Here they are:-
Thanks, Jenny

| | | Re: Fungus Expert Needed Hi Jenny - I'm far from an expert (for that we need Fungi John) but a quick browse through the Gallery suggests that your top picture is a yellow stagshorn fungus - I didnt manage to id the other two yet though.

| | | Re: Fungus Expert Needed Well thanks for the contributions so far - I'm new here but as I keep seeing Fungi John's name I can only take it that he is the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to fungus so I will wait for his return...

| | | Re: Fungus Expert Needed Hmm, that 3rd one poses quite a few questions to what genus it is actually in. I reckon it could possibly be a Paxillus - shame there's no piccies of what the gills look like.
