| | | help with ID please back again think this might be some sort of Collybia maybe fusipes due to there wide stem, it has a very faint mushroom smell and was growning a few feet up from some Sarcoscypha and there was a large cluster of Flammulina velutipes growing on a stump about one foot away at first I thought they were more Flammulina at first. but the stem and smell is diffrent. 
found at Ebor Gorge Somerset 31/1/09

Andreas | thanks Andreas, did think they were Flammuline at first, but it was the stem and the much weaker smell that made me think they was some thing else, the stem fills much smother and rubbery compared to the normal Flammuline, the Flammuline that was on the stump had the more normal dark velvety stem and made a very nice addition to my dinner
