Hi

can anybody ID the below fungus please
seen at Kingsbury Water Park Tamworth today

looks to me as though you have

Pleurotus ostreatus

and Xylaria sp. possibly X.hypoloxon but if not then X.carpophila

only started looking for fungus about a month or so ago so just getting used to the different species.

Carpophila as far as I know only grows on beech mast so it is X hypoxylon

I only have a very basic knowledge so its nice to have so many things to id - tests my knowledge
