Apologies if this seems a naive question, but is there such a thing as a comprehensive fungi terminology glossary available on-line?
Andreas used the phrase "smells distinctly farinaceous" in a reply. I googled for the word farinaceous, and various answers came up, but general results were: - "tasting of starch" or "high in flour content".
Does farinaceous (with regards to fungi) mean smells of flour?
Books such as Phillips & Jordan include glossaries, but these are by no means fully comprehensive.
Phillips' glossary doesn't have anything remotely similar to the word farinaceous, Jordan's glossary has the word farinose - with the definition "covered with fine mealy particles".
I usually end up Googling for individual words, but, as in this case, the answers sometimes don't seem to fit with respect to fungi.

(Although as I said before It would need closely monitoring to ensure that incorrect info or inadvertent typo's don't creep in).
