Auricularia auricula-judae on fallen spruce log?

I think this is probably Auricularia auricula-judae, but not on its usual host(s) but in this case on a felled spruce log. The size is smaller than it usually is on Sambucus. I did notice that it can be found (rarely) on conifers, according to the Basidiomycetes Checklist. And the microscopic details do seem to match visually those shown on the Bioimages website. But I also notice that the basidia are described as 3 spored, or with 3 transverse septa, which I haven't noticed. Spore size is 17.1-20.1 x 5.9-7.2um which fits.

Hallo Melanie,

I think that you are right.
For sw-Germany I can confirm the growth on Picea, but as very rare exception. We have more then 600 data sets with host given and only 4 of them were on Picea.
