I don't know if anyone is interested in vols 1-6 of this great series of books but there is a set currently up for grabs on ebay. Still four days to go and one bid currently at £200. If I hadn't already got some volumes I would be in there (and probably not mentioning it on here

)

Thanks for the tip off Mal. I just won the e-bay auction by a margin of 13p which at <£42 per volume is a steal I reckon

I'll buy you a pint at Clumber in October

Hallo,

and for us in "Euroland" it would even have been more of a bargain, because the British Pound lost so much of its value compared to the Euro in the last years. The price for one of the volumes 3-6 in Germany is 100 Euro. In Great Britain it is 60 BPS I suppose, what was appr. 92 Euro in January 2007. In January 2008 it was 80 Euro and today 60 BPS are only 66 Euro. So the total of the 6 volumes in ebay with 250 BPS would make 275 Euro only - compared to 450 of a new set ....

Oh ye of little faith - just arrived home from collecting the 6 volumes all in pristine, hardly used condition having previously belonged to a consultant anaesthetist and BMS member.
