Hi all,
Just thought you may like to know that the updated version of Roger Phillips' book 'Mushrooms' is out now. For those of you familiar with the older version, the new one is slightly smaller in size, making it easier to carry out in the field.
Upon turning to one page, I noticed a very familiar picture - Roger had used one of my pics I sent to him a while back! As you can guess, I'm dead chuffed since this book is recognised as one of the best on the subject out there.

I saw the book at the birdfrair. A lot 'chunkier' that the old edition, but a bit big in my opinion to take into the field! Good book though.. |

A friend of mine just got the book too....i was very impressed although i havent seenthe old version to compare...great about the pic though mark! any credit? |

Had a quick look at the book over the weekend. 200 new photographs and many properly renamed. One I would recommend highly … Well at least until mine is published anyway |

The only gripe i have heard about this new version is that the names are not under the pics?..they are separate? ..But other than that im pretty sure i shall be buying this new book  |

To answer a couple of questions, my name is credited under the species description. As for the photos, each photo is given a letter(a,b and so on) and with the description is the respective letter. So it isn't really to much of a problem as far as I'm considered.
