Cladonia
Since I didn't manage to find a single fungus on New Year's Day, here's a pic of some Cladonia rangiferina from the day after. There was loads of it about.



I think you can buy it in model shops to make mini shrubs from!

Hi Morchella, I know nothing about lichen, but just to inform you that there's now a forum sub-section specifically for lichens and mosses so that these wonderful threads don't get lost in amongst all of the fungi!
