Hi,

another two characters that separate the Panellus and the Pleurotus:

The stipe of the Olive Oysterling is always yellow and more or less velvety. In Pleurotus it is white and smooth.

The cap of the Olive Oysterling has a gelatinzed layer beneath the cuticule. If you put a finger on the cap and move it a little, you can feel this gelatinized layer. The Oyster Mushromms never has this.
