| | | Re: Fungi ID needed please Does this shot help at all? I didn't post it as it wasn't as clear as the first one, although a bit of the gill is showing on it.
The position of the fungi made it very difficult to photograph them. The long shoots from the Ash were poking me as it was!

| | | Re: Fungi ID needed please Whilst I agree with your ID, I must say that a velvet-like stipe in a photograph like this (quite distant and not macro) is not a feature that you can reliably ID from. If it was closer and you could actually see the softness of it, then I'd say fair enough, but I don't think you can. I certainly can't |
