| | | Anyone ID these Fungi Any help on ID would be appreciated.
Both growing on Silver Birch. I think the first one is a Birch Polypore but not 100% sure.

yes, you are right, the first one is the Birch Polypore (Polyporus betulinus).
The 2nd is a Hoof Fungus (Fomes fomentarius).

an interesting extra to the image of the Fomes is how it demonstrates the ability of fungi to know which way is 'up'
you can see how the trunk/branch that it was on has fallen or been moved and the later growth is orientated completely differently from that on the right, which shows the old (insect-holed) spore-bearing surface
of course here we are dealing with a perennial fruit-body, but you can see the same phenomenon in many species
