| | | Hirschiporus abietinus question in my larousse book I learnt a fungus name that has stuck. everytime I see it I think . hirschioporus abietinus. Is this its proper name nowadays or has it changed?

the genus Trichaptum was erected by MURRILL in 1904 (valid and legitim), therefore the proposing of a new genus Hirschiporus by DONK in 1933 was superfluos, as both are basing on the same type species (-> Boletus abietinus Dickson.
