| | | A Bracket & A Mycena for ID Please. Not holding out much hope for this one, but it's the only photo I've got.
Small bracket, about 50mm wide by about 25mm thick. Felt quite flexible & "rubbery" It was growing on a stump of what I think was an old oak. (Definitely not a Birch).
Think this one is Mycena arcangeliana due to grey stipes & similarity of cap & gill stucture to more mature specimens recently identified, but would appreciate other opinions.

I think the bracket is almost certainly young Fistulina - beef-steak fungus
as regards the Mycena it could be what you suggest, but I always like to check them microscopically
