| | | Two fungi for ID / Confirmation Please. I think this first one is Armillaria sp. but is it possible to say mellea / other, given that I took this a few months back, before knowing that gill shots are needed.
I think this second one might be old Coprinus micaceus - bad photo due to camera having to be poked at arms length between overhanging rocks.
Regards

| | | Re: Two fungi for ID / Confirmation Please. Cheers Nick - just trying to tidy up a few remaining shots (if possible) - Wasn't sure if the Armillaria might've been some sort of oldish Pholiota, (squarrosa) maybe, but thought it looked a bit on the large side.
Regards

Mike. | This struck a chord Mike - I've decided not to tidy up my remaning shots (maybe just a few perhaps!) cos there are so many, often not good ones either, so little point, might as well delete.
Or perhaps wait until expertise develops more . . . . .
But I am learning and , I hope getting a bit better!
Cheers
Ken
