an old (and milk-less) Lactarius; definitely not T. fulvum
toadstools are going to get weirder and weirder as these weather conditions assail us I'm afraid

Habitat: On soil or amongst amongst Sphagnum spp. in woodland, often in wet areas under Betula spp.

if you happen to see this again next season, first notice if it smells (it should not, at least not like cocos as L. glyciosmus) and secondly watch the milk drops on wounded gills after one hour or so (they should become greyish-green).
