So I inadvertently put it in the Gallery rather than just image library, but I want a better shot really to live in there, so I hope I'm right or I will need to grovel! !
Any confirmation/advice from these pics?

Ken | Well if you can recall the look of the specimen Ken, you might have noticed a thick, dark (brown/black) border surrounding the white area. This is a defining feature. If it didn't have one, or it did but it wasn't prominent, then I really don't think this is said species.
That said, I'm very doubtful that this is Dichomitus campestris- the pores of D. campestris are described as being circular to angular/irregular in shape, and this doesn't correspond as the pores are irregular and mazelike, almost like that of Daedalea quercina
I hope you grovel well Ken
Hope that helps mate,
Nick

Campestris is usually surrounded by a dark brown/black margin (see the pictures in the A-Z) but if possible keep an eye out for it in future as it develops. I found one dried up sample a couple of years ago locally and this year (oops last year) found two or three new specimens showing exactly this.

Mal | cheers all,
no dark margin, but if a young specimen as you say Mal, it might develop, so will keep a watch.
It does bruise slightly tan/brown though.
Got some more pics too - what else might it be guys?
Might not have to grovel yet Nick (some hope)!

Cheers J.P. | I did wonder, but I've now refined my decision down to Radulomyces molaris. Seems to match perfectly |
